    Happy New Year! As we kick off 2020, are you thinking about a New Year’s resolution you want to try to stick to? Here are a few suggestions to start off a great Spring 2020 semester.

  • Dean Spotlight: Dean News Network

    Are you looking to start a new club? Here at Dean College our students take the initiative to form their own, based on their interests. Communications majors Seth Von Schmidt ’20, Luke Smith ’21 and Jaime Sweeney ’21 were looking for an outlet to continue to work on their video production skills outside of classroom – that’s when the Dean News Network (DNN) was formed.

  • Now Playing: New Dancers Showcase

    Friday, December 6 is opening night for the New Dancers Showcase, an informal showing of dance works created by upperclassmen and performed by first-year dance majors. We spoke to Leslie F. ’20 and Rachael H. ’23 about their roles in the performance.

    The Dean College School of the Arts performance of Wonderful Town will run Wednesday, November 20th through Sunday, November 24th. Based on the hit play and film, My Sister Eileen, the musical Wonderful Town tells the hilarious and heart-warming story of two Midwestern sisters, newly arrived in New York.   • Honoring Our Veterans

    Members of the Dean College Community — alumni, students, faculty, staff and community members — join each year at the War Memorial along Awpie Way to honor those who have and are currently serving our country.

    Dean College was proud to welcome alumnus Thomas Paolino ‘11/’16, a double bulldog with both his associates and bachelor’s degrees from Dean, back to campus to speak about his role as the Rhode Island state senator for District 17, which consists of Lincoln, North Providence and North Smithfield.
