This year, Dean has added some extra sparkle to campus with more lights than usual, including a display for both Hanukkah and Kwanzaa in addition to the evergreen tree on the lawn in front of Dean Hall. Both Ray House and Main Street are also decked out in lights. Take a walk through town or up to the Town Common to see Franklin’s holiday decorations as well.
- Take in a holiday performance. If you love live music, catch the Franklin Performing Arts Company’s production of “’Tis the Season! A Jazzy Holiday Extravaganza.” Or if you missed the local production of “The Nutcracker,” head over to a nearby town, Boston or Providence to catch a performance before December ends.
- Hop on a train to Boston for extra festivities. Did you know that the Franklin MBTA station is just a five-minute walk from campus? Catch a train and be in downtown Boston in just under an hour to enjoy all of the city’s festivities, from ice skating rinks to winter markets and more.
