Dean College to Host E-Commerce Conference Featuring Co-Founder and CEO of The Grommet, Jules Pieri

Dean College will hold a free E-Commerce conference on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. The event is open to students and the local community.

The keynote speaker of the event will be Jules Pieri, co-founder and CEO of The Grommet. The company’s Citizen Commerce™ movement is reshaping how consumer products get discovered, shared and bought. The Grommet is her third startup, following roles as VP at Design Continuum and President of Ziggs.com. Pieri was named one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs in 2013. 

A panel discussion will follow the keynote address and feature women in digital leadership, including Bridget Scott, director of digital experience at SharkNinja, and Amie Hansen, vice president of digital at The Rockport Company.

This unique event is sponsored by the Dean Leadership Institute (DLI), which offers numerous opportunities each semester for our students, alumni and the local community to interact with today’s business leaders. 

The E-Commerce conference will take place in the Guidrey Center located inside the Dean College Campus Center, 99 Main Street, Franklin, MA from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. Networking will precede the event beginning at 7:30 a.m.
