Making a Difference: Celebrating the Impact Dr. Rooney Has Made on Dean College

As 2022 begins, it also marks the final year of Dr. Paula M. Rooney’s 27-year tenure as President of Dean College. Since starting at Dean in 1995, Dr. Rooney has made a significant difference, leading the College through exponential growth in enrollment, reputation, academics and financial stability with an unprecedented focus on student success.

Her exceptional achievements were recently recognized by Robert and Jonathan Kraft and the entire Patriots organization prior to the New England Patriots game on January 2, 2022. As Dean looks forward to continuing the close relationship we enjoy with Kraft Sports + Entertainment as the organization’s exclusive academic partner, we congratulate Dr. Rooney for this honor.

In honor of Dr. Rooney’s 27 years as President, we’ll be launching the Making a Difference campaign, featuring some of the countless programs, initiatives and activities through which Dr. Rooney has made an immeasurable impact on Dean. Throughout the semester, different areas will be highlighted as we celebrate the incredible growth and milestones the College has seen over the past 27 years and look forward to building upon this success in the future. These areas of impact are just some of the many ways that The Dean Difference has been put in action on campus and beyond to inspire our Bulldogs to achieve unimagined heights.
